Ferrari Westlake is pleased to offer this beautiful 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT by Scaglietti finished in Rosso Chiaro paired with a beige full leather interior, a combination that exudes the timeless palette of the prancing horse brand. Although Enzo Ferrari’s eldest son, Dino, had been a passionate proponent of V-6 engine design, he never got to see the day when the first Dino-badged Ferrari made its debut in the mid-1960s. Diagnosed with a Muscular Dystrophy illness, Dino Ferrari is said to have worked tirelessly from his hospital bed before tragically succumbing to the disease at 24 years of age in 1956—just one year before the engine premiered to great racing success. This model was Enzo's homage to Dino. 

After a few years of racing and development, Enzo charged his team with designing a new car from the ground up, using the principles advanced by his beloved son. The resulting Dino 206 GT was Ferrari’s first production car with a mid-engine layout and the first to be powered by a V-6 engine, with “Dino” proudly cast in each camshaft cover. Enzo saw it only fitting that it would be Dino’s own signature adorning the car’s nose rather than the now infamous prancing horse badge.

The production Dino 206 GT was designed by Aldo Brovarone and Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti. Powered by a transverse-mounted 2.0 liter all-aluminum 65-degree V6 engine with dual overhead camshafts and a 9:1 compression ratio, the 206 GT makes 180 HP at the 8,000 rpm redline. Torque was 138 lb/ft at 6,500 rpm.

The 206 GT frame featured a light-weight, aluminum body, full independent suspension, and all round disc brakes. Today, the Dino 206 GT is regarded by many Ferrari connoisseurs as the more distinctive and important Dino model. It is also surely one of the rarest, with around 150 of the hand-built, all-aluminum-bodied 206 GTs produced from 1968 to 1969, after which production shifted to the heavier 246 GT.
This 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT - chassis 00332 - was completed at the end of 206 GT production; it was the 115th of 153 units built during the brief three-year production run.

Originally painted from the factory in Rosso Chiaro, this 206 GT was first delivered to Giuseppe Cinquegrana of Naples, Italy, then subsequently sold to a local Rome resident a year later. This Dino remained in Italy until 1982, at which point it was exported to Canada where it remained until 2016 when the car was purchased again and imported to the US.

A full cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment was completed in April 2025, with the interior reupholstered to factory specifications with beige leather. Services to the fueling and braking systems (as well as refinishing the wheels) were addressed to bring this car back to proper condition at a cost of over $80,000.

One of the most revered Ferrari road cars of all time, this Dino 206 GT chassis 00332, now presented with a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment, is an outstanding example from the final year of 206 GT production.
