Pagani continues its legacy with the latest addition to its lineup: The 2024 Imola Roadster. While it may spark differing opinions on its aesthetic appeal, one can't overlook its exhilarating performance and unbridled design. This hypercar follows the legacy of the Huayra R, setting itself apart as the “best-performing open-top” the marque has ever created.

Born on the iconic tracks of Imola in Bologna, Italy, the Imola Roadster draws inspiration from its predecessors, the Huayra Roadster BC and the Huayra R. It boasts an advanced aerodynamic design and a heart-stopping 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine crafted by AMG specifically for Pagani.

 

Delivering a formidable 850 horsepower and 811 lb/ft of torque, the engine is encased in a featherlight frame weighing just 1,260 kg. It's equipped with a seven-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox and a six-pipe titanium exhaust system. This configuration not only produces an astonishing auditory experience but propels the vehicle to a breathtaking top speed of over 217 mph.

 

Aerodynamic Focus and Design

 

Designed for superior aerodynamic efficiency rather than sheer speed, the Roadster achieves an impressive 1,323 lbs of downforce at 174 mph. The design features enhanced front air intakes, dual warm air outlets, and wheel arch openings for enhanced cooling efficiency and aerodynamics. A distinctive roof scoop aids the V12 engine, and a central fin contributes to stability.

Advanced composite materials are a hallmark of Pagani's innovation, and the Imola Roadster continues to uphold this tradition. Its chassis, made of Carbo-Titanium HP62-G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62, provides unmatched rigidity and safety, creating a protective cocoon for the driver. Even the vehicle's paint, the Acquarello Light system, is a marvel of engineering, offering the dual benefits of reduced weight and lustrous color depth.

While the 2024 Pagani Imola Roadster might set you back around $5 million, production will be scarce (per usual), with only 8 examples to be built and homologated for road use around the world.
