The selling dealer acquired the car in July 2022 from its second owner of 21 years. Maintenance in February 2016 included a timing belt service, fluid changes, and servicing of the air conditioning, while work completed in preparation for the sale included an oil change, engine coolant and brake fluid flush, a full new tuned Capistro exhaust system with Headers was recently installed, and replacement of the spark plugs and tires. One of 408 examples delivered to North America between 1992 and 1994, this 512 TR shows 10k miles and is now offered in Vancouver with a window sticker, a toolkit, a car cover, manufacturer’s literature, recent service records, and a clean BC Registration.

The Pininfarina-styled 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included color-matched bumpers and side sills, as well as extended rear buttresses and revised lighting. This example is finished in Nero (FER 1240) and features driving lights, dual mirrors, side strakes, and pop-up headlights. The staggered-width 18″ alloy wheels wear Continental Extreme Contact tires. Stopping power is provided by four-piston brake calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The cabin features cream Connolly leather upholstery accented by a black upper dashboard and steering wheel. Equipment includes an exposed gated shifter, air conditioning, motorized passive shoulder belts, power windows, mirrors, and door locks, and a Sony AM/FM cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted CD changer. The three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 features Nikasil cylinder liners and Bosch engine management. Output was factory rated at 428 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An invoice from Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island in Plainview, New York, totaling $8,621, details service that was performed in February 2016, with work that included rebuilding the water pumps, replacing the timing belts, belt tensioner, gaskets, and drive belts, as well as fluid changes and servicing of the air conditioning system. An oil change, engine coolant and brake fluid flush, and replacement of the spark plugs were completed in preparation for the sale.
