The Roma was designed by Flavio Manzoni and Ferrari's Centro Stile to embody what he called "La Nuova Dolce Vita", the soul of 1960s Italian design expressed through a thoroughly modern lens. The long hood, shark nose profile, set-back A-pillar, and compact coupe glasshouse recall the great front-engined gran turismos without quoting any single one. GQ called it "perhaps the loveliest, cleanest, most compelling Ferrari design to roll out of Maranello in decades." On a car built around beauty as its primary language, Violetto Dino is exactly right. Inside, Nero leather covers the main surfaces while Extracampionario Pelle Bianca details introduce a precise counterpoint, Bianco stitching, Bianco embroidered Cavallino headrests, Bianco Cervino upper arch and low trim, central seat stripes in matching leather, color-matched Alcantara seat centres, and Nero carpets. A cabin that rewards attention before the engine starts.
