<div class="description" data-testid="description-text">Wide World Ferrari is proud to present this exceptional 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, a clean Carfax example showing just 6,540 miles, finished in the extremely rare Rosso Formula 1 2007 paint with Grigio Corsa racing stripes over a Black Alcantara interior. Purpose-built as the most focused evolution of the F430 platform, the 430 Scuderia represents Ferraris relentless pursuit of lightweight performance and motorsport-inspired engineering. Introduced in 2007 and developed with direct input from Michael Schumacher, the 430 Scuderia was conceived as a road-going extension of Ferraris racing philosophy. The name Scuderia, meaning stable or racing team in Italian, pays tribute to Ferraris legendary motorsport division and signaled a new benchmark for track-focused road cars. Compared with the standard F430, Ferrari reduced weight by approximately 220 pounds, bringing the Scuderias dry weight to just under 2,750 pounds through extensive use of carbon fiber, thinner glass, and lightweight interior materials. Power from the naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 was increased to 503 horsepower, paired with an enhanced F1-SuperFast2 electro-hydraulic transmission capable of shift times as quick as 60 milliseconds, making it one of the fastest-shifting gearboxes of its era. Production of the 430 Scuderia remained limited relative to the standard F430, and it has since become one of the most sought-after modern Ferraris, widely regarded as the spiritual successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale and the direct predecessor to later icons such as the 458 Speciale and 488 Pista. This particular example stands out for its extraordinarily rare and visually striking specification. Finished in Rosso Formula 1 2007, a special paint inspired by Ferraris championship-era Formula 1 cars, the exterior is further enhanced by Grigio Corsa racing stripes with Nero borders, creating a dramatic motorsport aesthetic rarely seen on the Scuderia. Complementing the look are gold-finished wheels, a nod to classic Ferrari competition heritage that contrasts beautifully against the deep red paintwork. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Black Alcantara with Rosso contrast stitching, emphasizing the cars purpose-built character. Carbon fiber racing seats, a carbon fiber steering wheel with LED shift lights, and a Giallo instrument panel reinforce the cockpits driver-focused design. Additional features include the driver seat adjustment system, hand-held fire extinguisher, Nero fabric center seat sections and headliner, and iPod connectivity kit, blending track-ready performance with select modern conveniences.
