Its Bosch mechanical fuel injection delivered seamless throttle response and tractable power, while the lightweight, short-wheelbase chassis preserved the lithe handling that defined the earliest cars.This particular 911 E, chassis 9*********, is an especially desirable, numbers-matching example finished in its original and exceedingly rare Conda Green (26) over Black Leatherette with Green Wool Pepita inserts one of Porsche s most iconic period color combinations. Sold new on February 18, 1970, by Estes Zipper Porsche/Audi of Beverly Hills, the car has spent its entire life on the West Coast, cherished by just three long-term caretakers all within the same circle of family and friends for over five decades.Provenance and HistoryThe first owner, a respected Los Angeles based film and radio composer, took delivery of a new car and maintained it meticulously until his passing in 1989. In the 1980s, he relocated to Washington State, bringing his beloved 911 along. During this period, the car received careful repairs to minor body damage sustained during a rainstorm repairs that remain well-documented and properly executed. He also commissioned a conversion from the original hydropneumatic front suspension to a factory 911S-spec setup using aluminum S calipers and Koni strut inserts a costly upgrade completed by Beverly Hills Foreign Car Centre in 1978.Following his passing, the car was acquired by a close friend a jazz musician and composer who had long admired the 911. He enjoyed it for the next 17 years, continuing its diligent maintenance, and in 2000, commissioned a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment by Aurel & Don s of North Hollywood, a shop synonymous with elite air-cooled Porsche restoration. This included a complete engine rebuild with Mahle S pistons, chain tensioner upgrades, stainless heat exchangers, and a full repaint in the original Conda Green. The interior was retrimmed with new seat covers, door panels, carpet, and dash. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful automobiles ever built, the Ferrari 275 GTB/4 earns that honor not only in aesthetics, but also in its aural ability to raise the hairs on the necks of even the most loyal Lamborghini enthusiasts. The 275 GTB is so good, in fact, that it was named number three by Motor Trend Classic in their list of the top ten Greatest Ferraris of All Time .Launched in 1964 at the Paris Motor Show, the Ferrari 275 GTB was a two-seater grand touring coupe that got its name from the 275 cc per-cylinder displacement of its 3.3-liter Colombo V12. The first road-going Ferrari to be equipped with a transaxle and independent rear suspension, the 275 was designed by Pininfarina and manufactured by Scaglietti and featured a conventional ladder frame design chassis with a steel body and aluminum alloy doors, hood, and trunk lid. At the very same Pair Motor Show, just two years after the 275 s original release, Ferrari unveiled a four-cam version of the 275 GTB. While the body work was largely unchanged from the Series II long-nose cars, visual enhancements such as a bulged hood with creased edges distinguished the new four-cam cars from the older models. Now with four overhead camshafts and 6 Weber 40 DCN carburetors, the upgraded 3.3-liter Colombo V12 produced a claimed 300 horsepower and had a claimed top speed of 167 miles per hour. Built from 1966 to 1968, just 330 275 GTB/4s ever left Maranello. Now offered for sale, Blue Chip is incredibly proud to present this 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4, finished in a rare and stunning color combination of Blu Sera over a Beige leather interior. A well-documented example, this 275 GTB/4 received its Ferrari Classiche certification in April of 2013 and underwent a full engine overhaul by Eberlein Automobile in Kassel, Germany in August of that same year. Following the engine overhaul in September of 2013, the car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in its current color by renowned Ferrari-restoration specialist DK Engineering. Showing ownership history in Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the US, this example is well traveled and is now available in Denver, Colorado with just 41,129km displayed on the odometer.
