This 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello presents in Grigio Titanio over a Bordeaux leather interior, showing 29,097 kilometers from new not miles with a documented history from new and an exceptional state of originality rarely encountered in the current market. The color combination is among the more distinguished pairings available on the 550 the cool, metallic grey exterior providing a reserved canvas that allows the car's long-hood, front-engined proportions to speak without distraction, while the Bordeaux interior lends a warmth and period-correct formality that complements the Euro-delivery specification throughout.Power comes from Ferrari's 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, producing 485 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive a configuration that places the 550 Maranello in direct philosophical succession to the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. The manual transmission is widely regarded as the definitive 550 drivetrain choice, offering a mechanical directness and driver involvement that the later F1 paddle-shift cars in Ferrari's lineup largely moved away from during this period. The 550 Maranello represented a deliberate return to form for Ferrari following the mid-engined Testarossa era a front-engined, rear-wheel drive grand tourer with near-50/50 weight distribution achieved through a rear-mounted transaxle gearbox configuration, and a body penned by Pininfarina that remains one of the more timeless designs of the late 1990s.This is a European-specification example, delivered new to Andora, Italy in 2000, where it remained until 2018. It subsequently passed into two separate private collections in the United Kingdom, having been used by its international owner for road trips throughout Europe the kind of purposeful, continent-spanning use the 550 Maranello was engineered for. The odometer and speedometer read in kilometers, consistent with its Euro specification and uninterrupted continental history.The service record is continuous and credible. A major service was completed at DK Engineering one of the most respected Ferrari specialists in the United Kingdom in 2022. A further comprehensive major service was completed in July 2025 in direct preparation for sale, encompassing belt replacement, transmission and motor mounts, fuel pumps and covers, valve cover gaskets, fluid flushes and filters, and new catalytic converter ECUs. The car arrives to its next owner with no outstanding maintenance requirements.Completeness is exceptional. The car retains its original tool kit, fix-a-flat kit, and warning triangle; a full set of keys including the master red key; a fitted indoor car cover; stamped books and records from new; the original Sony head unit; a functioning OE alarm and immobilizer; the stock valved exhaust system; and the original factory carpet protection film, which remains installed on the sills. That the factory carpet film survives after 25 years speaks to the care with which this car has been maintained and stored across its ownership history.This 550 Maranello represents one of the more complete and uncompromised examples of its generation available a fully stock, low-kilometer, Euro-delivered car with documented history from new, a freshly serviced drivetrain, and a level of retained originality that is becoming increasingly difficult to find as the model's collectibility continues to be recognized by the broader market.
