Built around the 2.7-liter engine and prized for its immediacy and mechanical honesty, the 911S remains a compelling, driver-focused expression of Porsche s motorsport-influenced road-car philosophy.This 1977 911S Coupe is an especially attractive and increasingly rare example, notable for its desirable sunroof-delete configuration and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity included with sale. The odometer shows 63,377 miles, but the actual mileage is unknown. The car has been refinished in its originally specified Paint-to-Sample Metallic Black over a black leather interior, presenting today with strong panel fit, good door gaps, and a cohesive, period-correct appearance. When new, it was well optioned with air conditioning, a Blaupunkt Bamberg radio, a leather sport steering wheel, 15-inch Fuchs wheels, sports seats, and sports shock absorbers, underscoring its original dual-purpose intent as both a capable driver s car and a comfortable grand tourer.Subsequent upgrades have been tastefully executed with an eye toward period correctness, including 911 SC-style rear fender flares, the iconic ducktail rear spoiler, RS-style door panels, period sports seats, a Sony AM/FM radio, and a Momo steering wheel. Car is still accompanied with its correct 1977 911S engine 911/85 with serial number that corresponds to be accurate "77 model year. Retaining its original 2.7-liter engine and benefiting from over $16,000 in recent investment since December 2024, this non-sunroof Carrera S presents a compelling opportunity to acquire a well-sorted, visually striking, and increasingly collectible impact-bumper 911 that honors Porsche s heritage while delivering an engaging and authentic driving experience.
