This 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider was first delivered to Ferrari of San Francisco in Mill Valley, California. It is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a gated six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in black over beige Connolly leather and features a black soft top, 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, a gated shifter, a Sony CD stereo, and automatic climate control. Work completed under previous ownership has included an engine out belt service as well as replacing the water pump, motor mounts, radiator, ignition components, oxygen sensors, catalytic converters, and the clutch master cylinder. This F355 Spider shows 29k miles and is now offered with a window sticker, service records, a convertible top boot, a clean Carfax report, and a clean BC registration.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in black, and styling elements include a power-operated black convertible top as well as pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels.The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels show blemishes and have been fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner.
The cabin features sport seats trimmed in beige Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, an aftermarket Sony CD stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out belt service was last completed in 2021, and additional work under previous ownership has included performing fluids services and replacing the following components:
